What is the most conclusive evidence of God's power?
Isaiah 42:8, 9 - I am the Lord: that is My name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them."

What is the strongest proof that a messenger is from God?
Jeremiah 28:9 - The prophet which prophesieth, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him."

What is the main purpose of prophecy?
Amos 3:7 - to help man become aware of the divine plan "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets."

What effect does God inspire through prophecy?
To awaken faith in God. John 14:29 - "Now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe."

To bring on a desire for obedience. Deuteronomy 29:29 - "The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law."

How does an understanding of prophetic truth strengthen the believer for life experiences?
Matthew 24:6 - "Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

How does the fulfillment of Bible prophecy help the believer?
Self-examination
2 Peter 3:11,12 - "Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, What manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God?"
Preparation to meet God
1 John 3:3 - "Every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure."

How does seeing the fulfillment of prophecy encourage the believer?
Luke 21:28-31 - "When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh...When ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand."

What fate is there for those who do not believe?
2 Chronicles 36:15,16 - "The Lord God of their fathers sent to them by His messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because He had comp0assion on His people, and on His swelling place; but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised His words, and misused His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy."

How should we consider the prophetic word?
2 Peter 1:19 - "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; where unto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the daystar arise."
